SSACOP Sends Our Condolences To The Family Of Officer John Bartholomew And CPD.

“The South Suburban Association of Chiefs of Police would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family of Chicago Police Officer Bartholomew and the Chicago Police Department. He will be sorely missed, and we all are diminished by his passing.

We condemn in the strongest terms possible the senseless attacks on law enforcement and will work tirelessly to make sure this doesn’t happen again. We will make sure we do all that is possible to make sure the men and women under our care go home to their families safe and whole.

Additionally, we offer our thoughts and prayers for the speedy recovery of Officer Bartholomew’s partner, whose name hasn’t been published.

I am requesting Association members allow mourning bands to be worn. Thank you and God bless.”
